Naples, FL is a coastal city in southwest Florida with a tropical savanna climate characterized by hot, wet summers and warm, dry winters. It is located on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico with the FLorida Everglades to the east. The current NOAA weather station is typically installed the Naples Pier but has been temporarily relocated to North Naples Bay while the pier is rebuilt after being severely damaged in several recent hurricanes.
